This is a fun volleyball drill that incorporates movement, passing, setting and tag. You can’t go wrong with tag. Give each player a ball and have them spread out.
The goal of this volleyball drill is to be the last player standing. Depending on the size of your team have them spread out on one half of the court. (For larger teams use both halves.)

You want to only have to say something once to have your players respond. In other words you want your word to be golden-you mean what you say. If you your word isn’t golden right now – you have to say things more than once or when you start talking there are players not paying attention-, then you have an uphill but not impossible battle.
If you are just starting out with your team, you are going to want establish this quickly.

In high school I had a teacher who was an excellent ping pong player. He would take on students during breaks. He had the ability to predict where you were going to hit his serve- either off to the left, right or into the net.
He was usually correct. He could do that because of the spin or “English” he would put on the ball. Unless you countered the spin and adjusted for it his prediction would come true.
