Hi I’m Hayley Merrett, Author and Volleyball Coach.

I know just how hard it is to go to training session after training session trying to keep your team fresh, alive and motivated each week.

If your anything like me, time is always a problem, there just never seems to be enough of it. You want to prepare for your training session but you only get half the time that you need.

Coming up with fresh drills and practice plans each week is difficult, yet you know how important it is not to be dishing up the same drills week after week.

On top of all that, you still have to understand and train your team in the mental aspect of the game, prepare your team physically and in some cases deal with the parental problems.

Its certainly a tough job, coaching a volleyball team, in fact coaching most sports these days. It is however, very rewarding, and that’s why your still doing it.

Each week I hear the same sort of stories from my volleyball community, which by the way is over 14,000 people and growing every day.
